DeSpiral is designed to work without an account or backend service. The app keeps your input and preferences on your device and does not send your text to a server.

We do not collect personal information, message content, contact lists, location data, or analytics data from your use of the app.
Information Stored On Device
The app may store the following locally on your device:
- Your app preferences, such as sound, haptics, reminder status, and reminder time.
- Reminder permission state, so the app can keep your daily reminder working.
- Basic usage state such as whether the intro has been shown.
How Your Text Is Handled
Anything you type into DeSpiral is processed locally to power the app's effect. It is not uploaded, stored on our servers, or shared with third parties.
Notifications
If you turn on daily reminders, the app schedules local notifications on your device. Notification timing and delivery are handled locally by the operating system.
Third Parties
DeSpiral does not use advertising SDKs, analytics SDKs, or account services. The app may rely on platform-provided components from Apple or Google to support notifications and sharing.
Data Sharing
We do not sell, rent, or share your personal data because we do not collect it.
Children's Privacy
DeSpiral is not intended to collect information from children under 13. If you believe a child has provided information through the app, please contact us so we can review the issue.
